Day 135 – May 15

Today’s Readings:

2 Samuel 17-18
John 4:31-54
Psalm 129

…the disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” John 4:31-32

While the disciples ponder if someone had brought him something to eat, Jesus is being fed by the transformation of the woman’s soul, as it makes its way back to God, and anticipates the many other souls that she will bring to Him. This is the mission of Jesus, to do the Father’s will, a satisfy the hunger of having his dispersed children return to Him.

When we have something we are passionate about, it can sustain us beyond eating and drinking. What are we passionate about? Are they the things of God, that will help bring others to Him?

Today, let us unite ourselves with the hunger of Jesus, the hunger for the Father’s children to return to him and be saved.

May God bless you.
